2011 Harley Triglide trailer hitch

I want to set my 2011 harley trike up for pulling a trailer. I need to purchase a hitch and wiring harness, Does anybody have any ideas what kind of hitch or wiring harness to purchase and what vendor (website)?
Any info is appreciated. Does anybody not recomend this idea or do you recomended this idea? I know harley does not recomed pulling a trailer.

I have a Rivco hitch & plug & play wiring from the same place. The plug you is up to you, your choice 5 wire.

I have an 09 TG with the Rivco hitch. It bolted right up and seems like excellent quality. M&M CYCLE had the best price I could find. $ 249

I went with the Kuryakyn isolation wiring harness.

I have a 2013 and installed the Rivco myself. Check your trailer plug to see if you have a 4 or 5 wire plug. If it's 5 wire the plug and play wiring harness offered by Rivco is the way to go. After you install the wiring harness you may have to match up the wire functions from the plug to those of the trailer or maybe not.

Be weight conscious. If you and partner are lightweights and you pack conservatively you shouldn't have any problems. If you aren't and don't you will be back here complaining about the lack of power, pinging, overheating, and how your trike sucks.

We packed heavy..a trailer.. me and my GF and blasted down to Kentucky a few weeks back..Nice hot days ..Muggy..Trike ran great..The only complaint I have is the other drivers on the road need to slow down!!

I used a Buchtec hitch and wire harness works perfect!!
