2010 TriGlide Reverse Not Working

My wife was riding the 2010 HD Triglide and when she tried to back up, the reverse motor did not work. Pulled the right side cover to reset the breaker, but it would not reset. Checked all wiring and everything is tight and clean. We still have the extended warranty! Any ideas before I call the dealer for an appointment.

Bring it back... Let them look at it, I had the breaker pop on me quite of a lot, It would always reset though, Finely I ''86''Th the motor and went mechanical... Search Reverse Motor,.. A lot of info there....

On my '10, the breaker would do a partial trip. So to reset it, you had to manually trip and then reset it. Then, of course, the motor gave out and they replaced it with a beefier motor that is way better than stock.

Thanks for all the info and tips! Dropped the trike off at the dealer this morning for the reverse motor. Two to four day turnaround because they are stilled slammed from Daytona! Trike is still under extended warranty! Had them also check the rear brakes under the Service Bulletin, intermittent check engine light, and any updated ECM downloads. Will post the results after I pick the trike up! Again, thanks for all the info! That is one thing that makes this forum OUTSTANDING!!!!

Make sure they don't charge you $50 each for each different request !

Picked up the TriGlide yesterday from the dealer. Checked the reverse and it works good! Only charged $50.00 for the replacement of the reverse motor. Now, I am glad I purchased the extended warranty!!!! They also checked the ECM and replaced the rear rotors and pads on a Service Bulletin! Wife will be riding to Key West this weekend and will see how it does! Again, thanks to all for the advice and comments! This is what makes Trike Talk awesome!

Ed
