I'm in a bit of a pickle :AGGHH:. My 2003 1800 has a bad starter. I have done all the test, voltage and test light. I had to tap on the starter to get it to work.
My question is how?:xzqxz: I have no manual yet. I can see the starter. I have tried to find information on line. No real luck. I do see that the fuel tank has to be remove. I don't see that as a real problem.
Can I get more information and ideas. Also where is the best place to get a starter?
Thanks in advance.

PM sent for you. On the starter I would buy a Honda OEM or if you have a shop nearby that could rebuild it I would go that route considering what you have to do to get to it. You wont want to have to do it again soon.

+1 on the OEM starter unless you know a GOOD REBUILDER. Bugger to change much less doing it twice. GOOD LUCK! ( If you have not already - try You Tube
