1st ride with Motor Trike

Picked up my Goldwing today after having the IRS Motor Trike conversion installed. I rode it the 40 miles home and was very pleased. During the ride a sudden 50+ mph cross wind tried to blow me off the Interstate. Scared the chit out of me, but the trike remained very stable. If I would have been on 2 wheels, might have been more exciting.

I am somewhat mechanically inclined, but I certainly wouldn't try to do this conversion myself.

I live in South Dakota, I didn't want any of you folks down south feeling sorry for us cause we can't ride our trikes. It got up to 50 degrees today. I also wanted to give some of you old farts something to look forward to, I am only 69.

If someone wants to tell me how to post some pictures, I might try that one of these days.

Congratulations bumlbe! Enjoy that trike :D.

This might help.... This is to add a picture or two right with your thread/post
  • Use any photo program to re-size your pictures to no more than medium quality (approx. 600x600, for instance)
  • Pull them onto your desktop
  • Click on "Post Reply" at the top or bottom of the thread. This gives you the tools needed.
  • type whatever you want to say first, then you will be ready to post a picture under your post.
  • Click on the little paperclip symbol right above your post. This opens a box that let's you pick a picture from a list of items on your desktop.
  • Select the picture from the list, give it a chance to show in the box, and click UPLOAD. It will take a few seconds, but the name/number of the picture will show up.
  • Repeat for more pictures, if desired.
  • When you have them listed in that box as attached, scroll down below your post and click "PREVIEW POST" to confirm that they will show up.
  • If they are there, click "SUBMIT" and you are done.
NOTE: This will show up as little "thumbnail" photos, but when the reader clicks on them they enlarge for easy viewing.

Congrats: I am sure that you will love it.
Your a better man than I am, I don't leave home with the temps lower than 70 with out my heated gear on and plugged in :)
