We have this 2017 Freewheeler for about 18 months now. Our first Trike but we have been "improving" our bikes forever and have done over a dozen "custom" bikes through the years. Very happy with the results on this project.

We started at the "front" and worked our way to the "rear" covering Looks, Performance, Comfort and Handling Upgrades. I'm not looking to just bolt stuff on just to bolt stuff on.

We Have Done This ...

And We Have "Completed"? This (please see below) With Results I'm Pretty Happy With ... Always Appreciate Your Feedback Thanks

Thanks 14 … I am actually researching the Zook Rake Kit and compiling my questions and concerns as we speak.
You’re quite welcome & it’s definitely a great set up you have!

That rake kit really is that good! I knew it would be easier steering as the research I also did, but it completely exceeded my expectations!

You will not be sorry!
Again… great looking Freewheeler and keep those knees in the breeze!!! 👍🏻👍🏻

Put Chrome lower fork legs on it. The clear anodized aluminum corrode very quickly
Thanks MT … I definitely have considered the fork lowers. My riding buddy has them always tells me to do mine.

The reason I backed off is twofold. If you do the lowers you really have to do the rotors and calipers too. Since HD does not make chrome calipers for the FW, they would have to be sent out and plated. My garage is not equipped to do the work so I would have to bring it to a shop for install.

I also do like the contrast between the chrome and the aluminum. I like the black and aluminum too like the rims.

Trying to do the “contrast” on purpose throughout the project saved me thousands of dollars too 😎

That would look good with chrome lowers!
FYI: WILLY SHINEY has them available including polished rotors.
Not super expensive either.
Willy shiney does an exchange on the fork lowers, cost about 300 bucks. I did mine this summer. Quality is outstanding.
exactly…. And they also exchange/polish rotors too!
I had them do mine & they look amazing!
And if you zoom in, they make custom wheel spacers that also cover the rotor bolts. 👍🏻👍🏻
