14 Tri-Glide Antenna Stud

I am adding the CB radio and already have an antenna for it and PTT switch however I am having an issue locating the antenna stud to screw into the mount on the truck so that I can attach the antenna. Does any one have a part number or website that I can order one from as my HD dealer says that HD does not carry them.

I can't believe HD didn't put the cb on the 14's. For that price they shouldn't leave anything off.

Their claim is they ask the advisory panel and they said the CB could be an option. I'm one of the many on the advisory panel and I didn't say anything like that, I do remember the question on one of the surveys. I agree with you, it should be standard equipment on the Trike and the Ultra Classic, its been standard on the Ultra Classic for many years, IMO it is what makes the Ultra an Ultra.

Harley doesn't carry the stud???? WTF is that? They sell you a product and then tell you they don't have what will make it work?? That's incredible.

msocko3, no CB is the main thing that really pi$$e$ me off the most. Why would anyone say the CB is not wanted anymore?

And then turn around and charge you a fortune to add it back on. The least they could do is offer it at a reduced cost.

Just wondering how chapter and other group road captains are going to handle management without everyone having a CB.

I guess Harley will say that they exchanged the CB for a GPS unit and not offered both to save money.
