Water pump changed yesterday and system bled. Test ride today. I also remounted my Powervision display to monitor temps. Highway ride with a few blocks city riding and Wards fans running. 86 ambient temp. Hottest engine temp 214 hottest coolant temp 164 , 70 mile trip. Stopped and shopped when almost home. 2 mile ride home no wards fans turned on similar temps. Parked in driveway left running while opening garage, Eitms kicked in. Engine 237 coolant 214. Turned off bike but engaged pump and fans and turned on wards fans. Temps started dropping, left on several minutes, engine down to 210 coolant down to 190
I’d say coolant system is working now.

Just in case you haven't seen this, I found this tidbit of knowledge from a post by newbury2000 on the Harley Davidson forums 2018 ultra limited water pump failure and replacement - Harley Davidson Forums

Apparently the HD coolant pump is the same as used on Audi's and the like. You may want to swap out the impellor end with the one on your old pump as the hose sizing is different. These pumps are far less costly on Ebay / Amazon then the HD one.

A fellow on this forum HDUSA1 had good info on the coolant and suggested that changing it out every 2 years would be a good idea as it has a tendency to thicken / gel with age and then burn out the pump motor.
