Seeking Opinions about a GL1800 Trike I'm Thinking of Buying

The Wing kinda looks likae a BIC outrigger.Champion is who bought Lehman and has now changed ownership.I think I would rather have it over an outrigger just keep in mind parts availability.

Being only 903cc, I expect it would be under powered going down the road with a trike kit on it. Because of it being a Lehman Kit, I would walk away. Your just asking for trouble in finding parts. Just my opinion!

I would think that the value of a Vulcan trike is better than an outrigger type. I have owned many Vulcans in the past and they are fine motorcycles. As far as worrying about parts, I have owned my current trike for over 7 years and never purchased a part from Roadsmith and have owned other trikes in the past and never purchased a part from the trike manufacturer. Not sure that would make any difference with me a far as a purchasing decision. That is a real nice looking trike you pictured.

Thanks, guys, for the advice. I'm still looking. I look at different bikes every day. Your insights are invaluable to me. I know a true trike would be better, if I can see my way to paying cash for one. Not sure I can do that right now. The Vulcan Trike looks pretty nice to me. If I could get it for around 7K, I think it would work for me. The wing trike that was linked looks great. I just don't think I can spend that much. I guess I'm being cheap. I'm not starving to death, but I don't want to run myself too short of cash. Again, thanks so much for the help and advice.

I'm looking at as many possibilities as I can. I also found this one: Log into Facebook
It's a 2011 Kawaski 900. Downside is that it's a Lehman conversion. I know they were bought out by Motor Trike and that the possibility of part availability is definitely limited. Asking price is 9K out the door. I wouldn't give that much for it, but maybe it's negotiable. What do you guys think? Should I not consider it because its a Lehman conversion?

Nice looking trike. I agree with others here - a trick might fair better in the long run that an outrigger. The one on th Wing you showed looked like a Voyager kit.

Young lady in my HOG chapter is selling her dad's 2012 TriGlide. She is asking $15,000. Trike has less that 5400 miles on it and in perfect shape.

Looks like the going price for this trike is over $19000.2012 Trike.jpgMiles.jpg
