+1 on the K&N. I think I have the correct part number on a list someone else posted that covers a multitude of Stallion parts. You could search for that list here as well.
I did not do this personally but a friend who was restoring a car had a similar problem. He very carefully made a cardboard pattern of the shape of the glass he needed and a local glass shop cut one for him. Admittedly his first try was a tad off but he nailed it the second time.
I'm curious as I'm not sure what part you are talking about when you reference the rod that holds the caliper in place. Are you talking about the turnbuckle? A photo would help. Thanks. BTW - had to replace the bearings on my 2008 too.
In answer to #5 - My 2008 is the same way. Brake fluid reservoir is full and no leaks. Have bled the brakes and no change. Just the way it is.

I wanted to get a bit more versatility out of the Class 2 hitch on the stallion.
I bought a Class 2 hitch extender and cut it where the arrow in the photo indicates.
I welded it to form the right angle needed to go into the Stallion’s vertical receiver.
It works perfectly for any Class 2...
WANTED: Axel nut cover: FOUND!
I am missing one of the axel nut covers from my front wheel (see attached photo).

Luggage Rack
If anyone is interested in a luggage rack I found this one on eBay for
$35.00.
It is brand new and you can see from the attached photo how it looks.
It does not interfere with the fuel door.
You will need to buy longer bolts than the ones provided.

Dimmer dash lights.
Just brought my new to me 2008 Stallion home today.
The indicator lights on the dashboard are bright when I first turn the key on and the system does its’ self-check.
Once underway the lights (high beam – turn signals – cruise control – etc.) are so dim I can’t see them...
