TINTED CAR WINDOWS
Being a retired LEO I used to hate any dark tint on windows. But being an old retired dude living in Florida I can’t get by without a light tint on my windows. It used to be illegal in many States but most have changed I think.- ISP-FL

Trike Dyno Locations
Four Rivers Harley in Paducah KY has a pretty new dyno booth. They replaced their old one a couple years ago. They have done several trike engine upgrades and rebuilds over the last few years and have a good base line to start.- ISP-FL

FUEL BOOSTERS
I almost always run 91 or higher. I have the "fuel rewards" app plus it is linked to my Shell gas card. I don't save a bunch but every fill up at Shell is at least .15 off per gallon. Whoa!
In my younger days I actually did some racing also, just in a cage, actually one with red/blue lights. Some races were only a few miles; some went for a lot longer. New Tri-Glide Owner in Virginia!
Welcome! I remember when I made the transition. The first week I wasn't convinced but my better half loved it. The second week I started to come around. Now, after two trikes and 9 years later I probably would never go back to 2 wheels.- ISP-FL

Whoa!
I can guarantee you if anyone on this forum test rode one of those about 90% would have to be forced off of it at gun point. Unless you have ever ridden a trike with that much HP and torque you can't imagine how much fun it really is. On the other hand, probably about 90% of the folks on here...- ISP-FL

Leaking Gasket
Yep, that base gasket would be the one. I just picked up the bike a couple days ago. Even though they had the base gasket in stock, they didn't have an upper gasket in stock because it was a Dark Horse gasket, plus after honing the cylinders new rings were needed so those had to be priority...- ISP-FL

4th TIME
We will be in Sturgis (the town, not the rally) in 45 days. Got an Airbnb in Box Elder for our weeks' worth of riding. Just not a big fan of crowds, or expensive lodging. But I know a lot of guys that hardly ever miss the rally.- ISP-FL

Trike Ground Clearance
Our last RV was a 30' Salem TT toy hauler. My trike drug the pipes even with the tongue jack raised. I had to put a couple pieces of 2x6 under the ramp door and make three single wide ramps to go up against it. Leaking Gasket
Not the oil pan gasket. It is the gasket below the cylinders that goes all the way around. At least I don't think that would be referred to as the oil pan gasket. I suspect it was not a good gasket or possibly the adhesive wasn't applied just right. I'm not saying it wasn't an issue with...- ISP-FL

I seriously doubt that running my bike in the dyno booth 2 years ago (over 20,000 miles ago) after the new engine was built had anything to do with the bottom end seal failing. I am certainly happy with the HP and torque numbers they were able to provide.- ISP-FL
