my wiring diagram
I had seen a lot of ways and than some not smart ways, like how I had it before, but getting things corrected.
Now this circuit is/will be done, than running lights next.
hope it is not to small, as I tried the resizing option because I could not crop the image small...
I bought this 4.75" LED 12v 55/60w headlamp, HI/LOW beam single H4 bulb. The side of it and style fits up inside the front of the fiberglass body and looks much more custom than the old rectangular K lamp that some one put in it.
So I did realize I needed a hi/low headlamp relay, but finding...
Okay I have spent time doing google and searching ebay and amazon sites, even Pacific Custom trike and few other sites.
I did not find what I needed for the upper shock mount bracket. Than I remember my notes and what I was going to do originally. Not something I care to do now because I forgot...
A good morning to everyone. It has taken me some time to find notes and things of my past dealing with my front end project. I have found most of it, I think, LOL.
My drawings did not come out in the scanner, so no picture to share......…….
My dilemma is that my front shock absorber will be...
Hard metal to soft metal, what needs to be done ?
I must of gotten lost, and so much information on this thread. I figure I will just keep with it so it is a more information thread for others.
I have been slowly working on the floating fender support legs. I used 1/4" thick plate 304 SS and...
So early yesterday I finished cutting out the left fender support.
I spend more time on the grinder working the extra material off as I get to the pattern line. I do not have the proper tools, so I just make due with what I have. It all takes much longer this way, but to me it is worth it.:D
It has taken me much longer to get things done, but I do have the right hand fender support done. I did change up a little on the pattern as I worked out this first support. Now I will use it as the pattern for the left hand support.
The strap was 3 feet long and I used a cut off blade with...
So I had to do something, but it all had to be done with the left arm and very little help with the right hand, at least at first.
Today the right side has gotten a little bit free in movement, some home physical therapy is working apparently.
The fork bars are not at a 48 degree angle, so...
This is going tobe hard, at least 7 days with one arm and hand. These pics show rocker swing.
This will be the ride position of the rocker's, ( 90 degree's from the fork line )
And now as it travels back to compressed state.
With the extra clearance now the rocker should not ever bottom...
So Thursday I took a fall. I hit the corner of the table and dislocated my right shoulder. Took way to long to get reset and I'm very sore and one handed. Idid pick the fork bars, as I decided I wanted longer mounting tabs so to prevent binding when all is bottomed out. One more buffing run on...
I, like most all members, love this site and those who are a part of it. One of the better things I have done for myself.
I have run sites before, and it is hard doing them yourself and hoping that members pay dues or pitch in at the end of the year to help cover the cost of the site.
I...
getting it done
Good morning to everyone, well apparently when you have nothing to do the finish work goes by much faster. My mind says the brake stay did not take so much work, but I am wrong as there is many hours sanding it out.
The buffer I have is one my wife bought to polish out stones...
Thank you, I am just trying to get done what I would like on the trike, maybe putting to much into it, but it is what I enjoy spending my time on.
Okay have some things back and been working on the rocker's, finishing work. Some pics of how it may all look.
another look, it is almost in...
still at it.
Almost a New Year, we sure do hope all enjoy it safely.
Holidays have taken up some of my time, but here and there I have kept at finishing this brake stay.
The 1500 grit paper seems to take longer than the 1000 grit, so I think I am looking at a few more days of it for sure...
Good morning to everyone, well I got my brake stay back from the machine shop. Not a happy camper about it.
Took it in looking like this
and after getting home I noticed like 4 deep dimples, took it as marks from a vice.
Now it was shinny, but I have spent 2 hours or more with the sander...
