Can someone please explain to me what the pan hard rod is? I'll jack up my trike this weekend and take a look. Sounds to me like its a sway bar. Doubt that mine is bad cuz I don't have squeeks or knocks, but I can add it to my PM list. Thank You.- David792

Cam ???
You got a lot of replies on the oil and some on the cams. I have a 2018 M8. Bought it new from the dealer. I installed the HD SE 447 cam, and btw... if you do the cam do all the stuff around it while you're in there. I am very happy with the results. I can for sure feel the torque response...- David792

Anyone install the Convertible Comfort Brackets after to their 14 inch shocks?
I sifted through all of the above information and a clear theme has emerged. I installed the 14" Pro Action shocks and the lift brackets way back in 2018 ( on a 2018 trike ). Way better than stock. Lift Kits and Steering
Hey Brian; I just read your post and I'm curious. How does changing the front suspension affect the way the rear end handles the ruts and bumps? I also changed out my rear shocks for the 14" pro action shocks and lift kit. I couldn't use the tall hole on the lift kit and had to use the short...- David792

Novice rider; will I even notice the difference?
My first time on my triglide was a test ride at the dealership. Going from 2 wheels to 3 was seamless. The steering, etc... is intuitive. You will have no problem. The 103 is a twin cam, the 107 and later years are all M8 engines. My 2018 107 has plenty of power for all types of riding. I...- David792

Street Cannons
I installed the street cannons as part of my stage 2 upgrade. Now... more than once someone on a GW or BMW K1600 has snuck up on me on the open road. Gotta say I sometimes get a bit envious of the quiet ride. But a Harley is a Harley for good reason.- David792

Oil in exhaust
Jack's advice is right on. Blue smoke at startup might indicate a worn valve seal. (not terribly hard to replace). Smoke during normal operation might indicate a bad ring. It is very possible that it's just a bit of weepage from sitting. When you say "oil in the exhaust, but no smoke" could...- David792

Torque wrench question
Are you torquing them to 90 lbs? I use a 3/8 drive torque wrench and 90 lbs is right near the top of it's scale. Your 1/2" drive wrench should have 90 about mid range so it should be even better. I still have the cases to both my torque wrenches so branding is not a problem, but I still think...- David792

12.3 inch Infotainment system
HD seems to be putting a lot of emphasis on the new 12.3 TFT display. I see it's on all the new CVO models and some others. We know that some of the features are subscription based, but it looks like they are leaning heavily on the HD Ride Planner. Ride Planner has been very buggy lately...- David792

Do all new bikes have WHIM?
I was at the dealership today and did not see a single bike with a 7 pin connection port. The salesman told me that HD does not use it anymore. I asked if all the touring bikes came with a WHIM installed or if it is integrated into the GTS system. He really couldn't give me a solid answer...- David792
