Removed body and noticed cross member is bowed up a little under 3/16, appears PO may have done it attempting to jack up the trike. I'm sure I can get the bow out put wondering if I should reinforce it.
Started my 1500 mile trip to Sturgis today, this will give me a chance to review my latest DK purchases. Today 450 miles mostly at 70/75 MPH with temps in mid 80's, oil temp at dip stick were mostly 215 ( I also have deflector wings and 1.5" tank lift installed.
The 14" Pro Action w/lift were...
200 miles this morning on newly installed 14" shocks w/comfort lift. Very nice improvement, small bumps aren't even noticed and big road imperfections and railroad tracks get absorbed without the sharp jarring you get from the air shocks. All in all I think they are set up from D&K very close to...
2018 TriGlide, have installed tank lift and cooling deflector wings. If you were only doing one which would you do, oil cooler or Love Jugs? I'm 68 and this will be my last bike so I want to do whatever I can to make it last, heading to South Dakota end of July probably one 4000+ mile trip every...
I know the 14" Pro Action is a great shock, see lots of comments and reviews, but don't see much about the Bitubo Twin Adjustable. From the chart DK has they look to be a big improvement over stock at a substantial savings compared to the Pro Action, anyone using these? Are you happy with them...
Did a search on cup holders but didn't find much pertaining to Ciro. Is anyone using the Ciro perch mount riders cup holder? If so, dose it work better on the right side handle bar or left? Seems like the left side would be a bit congested because of the reverse switch assy. Also looking at...
Ready to ride, everything I wanted to do over winter is done.....TTS 100 cams installed and dyno tuned, narrow sweepers handlebars, long ride 8" windshield, VPC clutch, removed cats and relocated sensor bungs, and from DK Customs, air deflector wings, comfort lift and outlaw 587 AC. Now saving...
I'm at Daytona and while I'm here I need to find a cover for the TriGlide, probably just an inexpensive half cover to keep the seats dry overnight. Any suggestions ?
I see posts with complaints about ride quality and replacing the stock air shocks with aftermarket units for a more comfortable ride.
It may have something to do with what I was riding but my girl friend and I are very happy with the comfort of our 2012 with stock shocks and DK comfort lift...
DK comfort lift installed this morning, followed directions very easy install took about an hour. Now my first trike ride with a passenger, think I'll take my GF over the mountain for ice cream:)
So I just rode my new to me 2012 for the first time....wow this is awful....I know, I know, it will get easier with some miles but right now this thing scares the s**t out of me. Turning is absolutely frightening, cruising at highway speed front end is very touchy, I know it will get better but...
