Removed body and noticed cross member is bowed up a little under 3/16, appears PO may have done it attempting to jack up the trike. I'm sure I can get the bow out put wondering if I should reinforce it.

I would not be concerned with reinforcing it. If it were mine, I'd just straighten out the bow. Have you tried standing on the crossbar center and see if you can "persuade" it back into place?

I know where everything is in my toolboxes, kinda. Or at least where it should be. I helped a guy at work put a chrome frontend on his Heritage, I go to his house and he has his tools laid out. Every time I pick up a tool and use it then lay it back down, he grabs a rag wipes it completely clean then lays it back down. I couldn't wait to get out of there.

That's one of my biggest fears is jacking the TG up using that crossmember. To flimsy. If it was made for it, HD probably would have told you to jack it up at that point. But they don't and there is probably a reason for it. I know almost everybody uses that crossmember to jack their TG up. I have never heard of any complaints/issues from doing it. So I guess we pulled a fast one on them HD designing engineers. Of course, we question alot of their designs/tactics in what they think should go where. We would replie with "Really".
