Howdy. I want to replace the stock handlebars on my 2019 Triglide. I saw previous posts on this recommending the Khrome Werks 2+2 narrow sweepers (300519).
Does anyone know if they come pre-wired? Also are there any other similar ones from other brands that are pre-wired?

As far as I know the two plus two narrow sweepers don't come pre-wired. At least I've never seen them. You might check with Hill Country cycles for pre-wired bars. I have installed several sets for people that have purchased from them. Although not on a Tri Glide.

I have the standard 2+2 , I wired them myself. Another company with pre wired is Dominator industries. The narrow sweepers were a bit too narrow for me. I liked the standard ones better.

No, the Khrome Werks are not prewired but I would not let that stop you from getting them as they are a high quality and very popular bar.

Plenty of videos online how to do it or an Independent shop do them all the time. If you lived closer, I’d be happy to swap the wiring in the bars for you. If you don’t have heated grips, then it’s easy. If you do have heated grips, then one of the right side connectors will need to be depinned.

Regarding the Narrow versus Wide, I wish they would rename them to something else. They are the same bar, the only difference is the angle of the grip ends. Here’s a Description from RevZilla: “The name might be awkward but the Narrow "Plus 2" Sweeper Bars from Khrome Werks provide more comfortable ergos for long days in the saddle”

The Wide are more level and turned more straight out (think Ape Hanger style but not to that extreme) where the Narrows are turned in and the ends angled down a bit (think factory style only higher and pulled back). When you turn the ends in and down a bit, the overall outer measurement is a bit narrower.

Papa Zook mentions he installs more Narrows than Wides. I’ve had both and didn’t like the Wides and wished I had researched them better before buying. When I called Khrome Werks to talk to them about it, they said the Narrows outsell the Wides by 10 to 1 and that’s why they are sometimes on backorder. They went on to say they were designed with wrist angle comfort in mind.

I know everybody likes the 2+2 sweepers and I understand, I went with wild one 12.5 bars and very happy with them, I rode a trike many years ago that had these bars on it, loved it so that is why I went these from wild one.

I chose KSTKustoms Mayhem bars for my 2022 trike. The two main reasons were they are polished stainless steel and they offer the bars pre-wired. 12 inch is the max height without changing cables and hoses. I do believe the Sweepers are a bit more narrow though and almost got them myself.

Did your stock cables and wires work on the 12.5's or did you need to buy extensions?
I couldn't tell you, when I bought the trike new I had the dealer install all the options that I wanted including the bars, I did quite a bit of haggling to get the price out the door I wanted, it didn't show any extensions in the bill so I can't really tell you, sorry
