It was 2 years ago that I did this so I thought I would do it again. I have to tell you it was worse this time, all the squating up and down to fill the reservoir got to my back and legs, my thighs today are very sore and hard to walk. The fluid still looked good and don't have a fluid tester but went ahead and did it anyway. Getting the trike up in the rear end to take tires off sucks, I can only do one side at a time since my floor jack is to big to do it from the rear, I go in from the side and this works but a pain in the butt. At 77 and with a bad back and spinal stenosis this might be my last time doing this, I guess I will know in 2 years if I can do it again, it would help if I had somebody to help me on this.

That's an accomplishment! Nice! Now at least you don't have to worry about it for another 2 years and plenty of time to work out getting an assistant.

ABS?

Time to buy a table lift for your trike. No more squatting and your back will thank you.

Once you buy one, you will kick yourself for not buying one 30 years ago.
If you park the trike on the lift you don`t lose any space in the garage...

Handy BOB 1500 (1500 lb capacity)

OP: Did you cycle the ABS system when you flushed the brakes (if you didn`t you just wasted your time, you must cycle the abs module to get the moisture laden fluid out of the module)?

I did my Freewheeler about a month ago . No abs . I also just because I didnt know about the linked brakes installed a new rear master cylinder. Ive examined the old one a couple times and its on the shelf as its still good. At 73 the only issue I have is getting back up. I remember the days as a part time body and paint guy and its sure was easier back then :) . Oh well after the widow maker 19 years ago I am pleased I can still play with bikes, cars and whatever else. Just remember at 77 I think you have all day all week all month. Work slowly !

Thanks for the replies, pwhover yes I need a girl friend, that would be my assistant, Silver Foxx and Dan Sc no ABS, Koolbreeze would love to have a lift, but no room, I'm lucky to have what I have.

What brand lift do you have? I like that it is just wide at rear so you can get close to the motor to work.
Thanks
