Older motor trike latch leavers

any one have trunk latch leavers with end wearing off on older motor trike to where trunk will not stay closed.Its on a 06 ultra classic

The leavers (dull part) are worn off at the end

I bet you could use some J&B weld and a file and build that back up nicely.

gonna try that on that one the other is worn all the way off but I think I found sum on e bay
