Just talked to my local HD dealer about service manuals for my trike.

Here are the part numbers he gave me....Touring Manual 99483-12..$60 and the Trike Suppliment Manual 99601-12...$40.

Has anyone purchased these? And if so what is your opinion on them

If you plan to do any maintenance on your trike, the factory service manuals and the parts manual are invaluable. The parts manual not only provides the part numbers for the components on your bike, but it also provides an illustrated parts breakdown showing how things are assembled.

You definitely should have these books on-hand before even thinking of taking a wrench to your trike.

John that is exactly what I wanted to use the manuals for. I asked the Dealer and he claimed that with these manuals u can completely dismantle the Trike. He also told me they had to be ordered. I have 2 more HD dealers in the area I might give them a call and see what they have to say.

I'm hoping my full set of 2010 Touring and TG manuals will be close enough for my 2012. Probably not the frame and trunk, but hopefully the engine, drivetrain, electrical and front end.

If they have to be special-ordered, you may as well go through an internet dealer and get 20% off. I think I got mine from Zanotti Motors in Ohio.

Zanotti Motors is no longer in business from what I understand..To bad as I liked there prices

I picked up the manuals today at the dealership I purchased my trike from..they had both of them in stock and I used my 15% discount card (the dealership gives u a 15% discount for one year with a purchase of a new Harley). The manuals are fantastic and will be very helpful working on the Trike.
