Doc, Sounds like a nice car show. I know you can have a lot of fun at the shows but I know there is a lot of work to get things ready for the show. I have participated in car shows since 1986 with cars, trucks and trikes and will continue until I can't get up and wipe off the dust. Have a good day at the show, wish I could make it down.

2008 Stallion Trike

I bought my 2008 Stallion in August, 2017 with only 5,550 miles on it. It is exactly as it came from the factory; paint, tires and all. The reason for the low mileage is because it spent most of its life sitting in collections. The original owner was country legend George Jones. I have a copy of the original title showing his name and address. Motor Trike also confirmed that he was the first owner. I greatly enjoy riding it. It sure is a head turner. Almost every time I'm out riding, people ask questions about it and take pictures. That's part of the fun. I have tried to post a picture of it on trike talk, but no luck.

2008 Stallion Trike, VIN# ending in 0283. Looks brand new. Bought it last August, 2017 with 5,550 original miles on it. First owner was country legend George Jones. The reason it has such low mileage is because it sat in two different collections for most of its life. Exceptionally stable on the road. The heat and air make the ride much more enjoyable, especially for us older folks. I'll admit that a two-wheeler is more fun to ride. On the other hand, it's more fun to feel safer on a three-wheeler. You would really have to do something stupid to ever roll a Stallion, unless the cause is an accident. I am extremely happy with my Stallion, and every ride is a pleasure.

Interesting story and there's more. I special ordered that Stallion trike for George and Nancy Jones and have pictures of them picking it up at my shop that I can share with you.

Interesting! I thought "what the heck", someone has to be wrong here. I saw the pic and serial #330 of Ken Schwartz and realized that this is the same Stallion I bought 3 months ago in California. I checked my serial # on my title and on the Stallion just to make sure. He was meticulous like me (a flight instructor) so I was assured in my mind that this was a buy for me. Sure is a small world.

Yea I saw that also. I went back and saw it was in California so he sold it to you.

Yes, it is a very nice one. BTW, I just talked to a guy named Joe this morning in Indiana that has access to some factory Stallion parts. He also has had a mold built to produce tinted or clear windshields. They cost $2,200.00...OUCH! He inventories various parts. You probably know all of this already.

I was missing a dust cap for the front axle castle nut and he had several in stock. Just FYI. Plan on keeping this jewel as it is in such pristine condition...and only 17,000 miles. '08 #330. Thanks Gorilla. I hope to attain knowledge and also share what I may learn about Stallions. Nice to have a community that straight shoots about Stallion problems, parts and remedies. It is much appreciated. I wish I had a way of knowing how many Stallions still exist here in Oregon. Happy riding.

Finally got around to posting some pic's of my Stallion. Just got back from a 2 day, 940 mile ride with zero issues. Still not one leak or problem that I know of. This is an '08 with 18,000 miles on it now. The more I ride this, the deeper in love I find myself. I think a person really has to own one to actually appreciate the design and "rideability" and all of the cool engineering to make it all come together with style and grace without becoming a "shoehorn" job. I know now why Stallion owners have a hard time parting with this awesome machine when they feel the need. Not surprising that they are gobbled up so quickly when one is put up for sale. Buddy#11, #330.

She is a great machine. With good maintenance you can easily put well over 100k on her. My wife put 130k plus on hers when she HAD to sell it. Has still running GREAT
Ride safe

Thanks Ted. I saw your wife had rode one for many a mile. Nice to know these have some longevity to them. Like anything else, maintenance is a great predictor.
