Hello,

After 2½ months I might get my new Freewheeler a week from this coming Monday. I have all of the seating that I kept off of my 2015 FW that I totaled. I'm looking for advice on how to remove the black passenger backrest plugs without damaging my new paint.

Use an old credit card to pop it up;)

You can also use a pocket screwdriver, put a piece of cardboard between the blade and the paint

Keep in mind the brackets for the sissy bar will cover the area the plastic covers once were

I have done 3 Freewheelers this way with no ill affects

I gently removed them with my fingernails.
