i was wondering what would be the best shocks to install on a 2012 triglide.the air shocks suck. also what should the oil pressure be on a hot idle.it has 32 lbs at cruising speed. it only has 12000 miles:Shrug:

If i remember correctly.....With my 2011 Tri-Glide .....At highway speed 32 plus or minus seems right......At a hot idle at a red light almost zero ...I had almost 50 thousand miles without any problems when i traded it in....That said Harley gauges aren't known for Accuracy...

Your hot idle oil pressure should be 5-10 PSI

Running down the road warmed up engine 30-35 degrees would be fine

Do not put much faith in H D gauges, when in doubt check your PSI with a master gauge

At least you have a number to look at. On my 2020TG all the information system says is that the oil pressure in OK. WTF is that.

Cheap by the MOCO

It is a good thing these air cooled twins can run and even last on low oil pressures;)

Damn things have run for years on volume @ low pressures

I really dislike idiot light systems on any thing JMO

No one has addressed the shocks I swapped out for Pro Action out of Beaver Falls PA. Hands down the best thing for ride. They are a small business locally-owned and they answer the phone to help with questions. Travel safe Fred

I have Pro action from DK on my trike and Suspension Technologies on my RKC both work great!

On my 13 I was shocked to see my oil pressure drop to zero waiting in heavy traffic. Ridiculous how hot it gets too.

We appreciate Your business, & glad you're enjoying the improved suspension!

Oil pressure should not drop to zero...5-10 is fine. Zero is not.

Yes, heat is a big issue, you may find this video series we did on how to reduce the heat useful-
