Can anyone give me some info on how to use the reverse on my Lehman trike. It is the mechanical unit on the right side near the oil fill. What is your opinion of this unit. Is the electrical reverse a better way to go? Thanks

The electric reverse on the harley tri glide has been troublesome .it tends to blow fuses when under a load. Also, the solenoid on the reverse has gone out twice on my tri glide. This causes the reverse to kick in while you are going foreword and can destroy the reverse motor unless you can act fast abd stop the trike and turn the swich off.this is not a perfected design at all.It is one sore spot on the bike.there are about four others.
i have talked to several owners that have had a variety of problems with the reverse.Swich ,motor, solenoid ,breaker issues, have all plagued owners.Your lack of problems makes me wonder how many miles or riding you have done with your trike.mine is a 2009 with 22000 miles.I would suggest anyone owning a hd trike to buy the extended warranty.these repairs are costly.
