Avon front tire

That's what I was looking for on the side walls but didn't see any. So the wear bars are just in the tread groove on the face of the tire?
Yes they are tuff to find on my Commander II I just looked I've got 6/32" left on the tire that's a rear tire mounted in reverse. with over 12,000 miles. New it had 9/32" `not bad for the miles. Fred

That is great mileage Fred:clapping: Keep Ol Shiney safe for you and your wife;)

nothing is more important than safety. Fred

You bet ya. it matters not how it runs, ya got to be able to steer and STOP safely. This is where good tires are a MUST;) Way too often I hear customers complain about steering and stopping issues. That is when I say to them check your tire pressure and wear ALWAYS

Avon 91 tire

I now have about 16K miles on the AV71 that I posted about on this thread a couple years ago. Still looks great, may get another 10K on it. I don't know if the funny feel I had back then is still there or not, either way I am so used to it now that I don't even think about it. It does stay planted in turns and I can run 15 to 20 mph over the posted corner speeds when my inner hooligan comes out to play. Don't do much of that when 2-up, though ( the Momma poke in the ribs :xzqxz:)!

I have 500 mi on the new AV91 and totally agree on better handling! The tire performs great except for the Buzz. Most of our 2 lane roads in Southern AZ are rough and the buzz is not that noticeable. 20 mph over posted in corners the tire tracks true! I like it and will live with the Buzz; unless Avon comes out with some kind of update.

I haven't tried the 41 lbs yet.

Fuzzy, I had not heard of the Ride on issue before, what gives there?

I wonder if you just rebalanced the wheel with the Ride on still in there to see if it is actually not in balance. I have it in mine (front & rear) and like the sealant aspect. Will be watching for your update on this when you get it back.

That is a great tire repair kit. Have carried it for yrs. Used one time on a friends 2 wheeler . He rode 1000 miles on it with no problems. When he needed a new tire, they checked the plug & it had not moved.

Had the AV 91,same buzz on the 16. Tire was new (5k on it + -) so when I got the 2020 had dealer change tires from the 16 to the 20 & told him to remove the ride on. No buzz on the 20.

I only have 150 miles on my new AV91, have no vibrations or buzzing. I have heard a different sound from the tire than the stock tire. I like the way handles so far, 40# inflation

I just put on a Avon AV 91 ,try it out in the morning see how it is , I had a Michelin Scorcher 9000 miles it was bald .

Went for 250 mile ride , the tire made such a difference ,its better than new , these are the wheels and tires of my 2010 tripple x , monday I'm going to change my rears to B F G advantage TA . I hope there as good ?

Not sure about those. For the rear , some of us are running Goodyear ComforTred

I'm running Viva 3's Goodyear they are quiet great on turns. Solid and good on wet road. Only thing is they are available only at Walmart and made in the USA. I purchased them black Friday sale. I believe with good shocks any quality tire would be just fine. Fred
