The Fix Explained:

In reviewing our recent server issues and recommended actions, it was suggested that we free up some storage space on our server. One suggestion was to reduce the number of stored PMs for all members. For Gold Club Members, who have more space by default, the stored PMs was reduced from 500 to 250.

While 250 seemed like a generous number, it seems that a few aparrently had more than the new maximum of 250, which automatically required some PMs be deleted before new messages could be sent or recieved. I just bumped the number back up to 500 for now. I would suggest that if you have a lot of stored messages, delete the ones you dont really need to save.

Similar to cleaning the cache one's desk or laptop. I do that on a daily basis. If you don't, it will slow down the processor.

When i go to my inbox [PM's] The only choice it gives me is to delete all received and or all sent ...Unlike with my E mail where i can choose which ones to delete and save others...

Am i looking at the wrong function:Shrug:..

I'm on a desktop but on the far right of the message where the date and time are there is a tiny box that I can check to select it.

At the very bottom of the pages of PMs, right side there should be a box that says "Selected Messages", if you click on that it will give you options in a drop down menu

Isn’t It sad that it takes teamwork to operate today’s gadgets.

My grandson (2 yrs old) can operate a tv remote better than his Nana and it won’t be long until he will be showing me how to make a phone call on a cell phone.

It will never end. It never has. Sometime in the future you can have implanted into your brain a microchip that will already have all known information/skill sets/technology you need in order to be a doctor, lawyer, indian chief..whatever your interest is.... instead of trudging through a minimum of 4 years of college. Then, you can take that info and develop it into NEW information, technology, skills....

Mark my words.... for I am the one who sat at a typewriter, re-typing and re-typing and re-typing a letter for the boss because he kept changing it...and it had to be perfect with no typos each time...just in case the latest one was the letter to be mailed.

After the 3rd re-type (3’s always the charm) my aggravated mind would begin to wander and imagine the day one could just stare at the paper, make 2 or 3 keyboard movements, and WAHH-LAH!... the letter was updated.. sure enough - the Mag-card machine, then the word processor machine,,,,then the rest is history!

I for one, enjoy the challenge. Every time I buy a new Pixel phone, I dive into the developer settings and start customizing it.
