Greetings, new forum member interested in your responses to my intended TG

If anyone knows a dealer willing to sell a CVO Tri Glide under sticker please let me know. I am thinking about one for my wife. It would have to be a great deal because of the money I have put in her bike. I could take all the add-ons off if the deal was right. I haven't seen a dealer willing to sell one below sticker.

Good luck you may find one in the frozen North somewhere but that's an outside shot... ya kno... good luck. fred

It is pouring down here at the moment. Rode the bike I was trading yesterday and it was really wet and windy but I ride year round.

Did you manage to ride HWY 2?

Jon.

No, I never got up to Hwy 2, but it's on my list. A guy could make a career of riding Hwy 2.

Now there is two CVO TG'S in the family, One white and one black. My wife wants the white one and I am good with that. A thumbs up for the great deal at Space Coast Harley in Palm Bay, FL. Kelvin was my salesmen. He got the job done (321) 259-1311

Shame on Seminole Harley in Sanford Fl for not honoring their word and getting greedy.

Glad you got the CVO's and kudos to the dealer that wanted your business :D

Ride and be safe.

CONGRATS Peter. I'm glad they are still working with buyers at Space Coast. A lot of us in the Keys know Tong one of the sales managers and we know the deals that they will make.

I will be taking some things off my wifes bike before they do the swap that I will be posting for sale, exhaust , LED tail and marker lights, drivers backrest and other items.

Just FYI Peter if you are thinking of posting the items for sale on this forum then you will need to up-grade to a Gold Club member status. You can get that information on that thread.

Looking forward to the pics.

I am going to. I was having a hard time this morning finding out how to up-grade.

I tried to go gold but it wants me to join paypal. I will not join paypal. I do not believe in the way they do business and have had them hold money just because they can. Is there another option?

Peter go to the thread it gives alternate methods. If that doesn't work just call Randy at the number listed in his ad for "CUT-N-SHOOT CUSTOMS He will work with you.

Jon, I’ve had my 18 Tri glide for 2 years now, before we bought it my wife had a 16 heritage softail and I had a 16 ultra limited, after some friends of ours bought trikes I told my wife maybe we should look. Went to the dealer and test drove a 18 115th anniversary Tri glide and decided to buy it, took both 2 wheelers and traded them in and brought the trike home, have no interest in going back to 2 wheels, I’ll ride a trike for as long as I can. Good luck at the dealer tomorrow, they wanted to charge me above list and I told them I wasn’t doing that and we settled a little below, but they did try to stick it to me.

Steve,

I found these LED lights I want to put on inplace of the fender side reflector. I also found a module that will let them blink for turn and stay steady as running lights

After an accident and a rod in my arm, we went from 2 to 3 wheels. We purchased a 2010 triglide back in 2012 and fell in love with it. Now mind you, wife also drives it but cant ride for more than an hour due to tail bone issues so we don't do long haul stuff. Both of us took to the 3 wheels with no problem. I enjoy the cat nap in back while she drives.

We just moved to PA from MD and sold our trike in Jul...And I have permission to replace with a 2020....NOT the CVO but the standard poor mans version.

I did jump on a 2 wheeler during open house this summer after being off since 2012. I enjoyed the swaying of the 2 wheels but missed the comfort and security of 3.

Hope you enjoy whatever you pick. I know I can't wait for my new one PICs when I get them.

Just a few more farkles then she will be finished.

Still can't ride anyway as I am still recovering from hand surgery.

Ride safe.

Jon.

Jon,

Love your new bike. The color is sweet. Pictures don't show it properly. I put a Rekluse clutch in my wifes bike. works great and if you have any issues with your hand maybe it will help. I may put one on mine just because it makes it so easy on your hands.

Peter,

Thanks for the advice about the clutch and the kind words regarding the bike.

The picture has for some reason disappeared so I tried to upload again but no joy.

I like "your twins" and the way the different colors enhance the look of each bike when you look at them in the pictures.

Likewise, your white CVO doesn't do justice in pictures but up close it looks supreme. I nearly went with the white CVO but I ride all year in the PNWet and I would have run into issues with air filters and the like.

I don't ride in the rain, I am a little anal with keeping my bikes clean and the thought of having to clean them after a wet ride exhausts me. More work than I want to deal with.

Until I purchased the TG I had 3 bikes to deal with -:)

We have had 30 days of rain here in the PNWet...ahhhh

My average riding 2 wheels is about 1800 miles per month when I was commuting.

I wish I could commute to work on my bike but it would be a death wish. The traffic on I-4 from my house to work runs like the last lap of the Daytona 500 and the side roads are so busy that it's no safer.

Pretty much the same here in Seattle.

If there is an accident on I-5 and the lanes are blocked then traffic migrates to the side roads and you know what happens then.

Since I don't commute anymore (another job) life is so much better.
