I am looking to replace the black shift knob on "MotorTrike" reverse kit. Is the shift knob threaded or glued on the shaft? If it can be change, what is the thread size? If anyone here has switched theirs, I would much appreciate your feedback.

When I did mine it was a Champion reverse Gear similar looking to the Motor Trike version and could be made by Champion??
Anyway I had to cut off the shift knob thread the shifter shaft and put on the shift knob that I wanted to use.
I had the Moto-Trike reverse on my 11 Tri-Glide But sorry to say i never though about changing it....I'm more of a Function over Form guy....But i would think it would with a little force unscrew.......Wish i could help you out a little more..
It's threaded on but I can't get it to budge. Might have some glue as well. Of course, I'm approaching 72 years old which may be the problem as well. Don't have the grip in my hands as I once did.
I know shifter pegs for Harley Trikes are threaded, and we often change them to personalize our trikes.
