Soon I'm going to have to replace the rear brake pads on our 2010 TG, does anyone have a step by step guide on how to do these? I don't have a service manual ( yet! ) Also, considering doing a front brake pad job too .?.?

I've also learned that Lyndall does not make rear pads for any H-D trike anymore, the owner said there wasn't much of a demand anymore, bummer....I really like their rear pads, still use them for the front though.

I used drag semi-sintered pads.

hand brake must be unscrewed fully , then remove caliper and emerg brake suport, move emerg brake lever on caliper back so the piston sides back, install new pads and reasemble . Adjusting the e brake might require removing the lever on the caliper and re postining . After alls done screw in e brake thadle till e brake grabs. . Then ya should be good to go. If in doubt see you tube . 📞

When you rotate the piston back in the caliper, clean the dust boot off first. You do not want ANY crap following the piston in. Open the bleeder screw on caliper so you can push the old fluid out.( if you have anti lock brakes) you NEED TO DO THIS/ I do it on ALL brake jobs, I do not want any of the contaminated fluid going back into the master cylinder. Yes there are contaminates in the old fluid, the fluid takes on moisture for one, and the rubber parts do break down, that is why the fluid changes color. Just my way of doing it

I have a set of Lyndall rear pads (7255 Gold) that will fit your TRI still in the package if you are interested.

Also have manuals for a 2010 Tri Glide I don't need and like to sell too.

Here is what I have shop manuals for the 2010 MY

This will help you change and adjust your brakes with the service manuals.
