Aluma makes a couple different sizes. I pulled the smaller one for 5 years till I bought a used Bushtec. Their around $1200. Good little trailers. I just always wanted a Bushtec. Finally found a really good condition used one I could afford.

You can spend more for fancier trailers, but you won't find a better trailer than an Aluma.

I've been pulling a MCT for 15 years and many thousands of miles. Never a problem

They make an MCTXL as well.

trailers come in all sizes and prices, if you are not in A hurry, there are some deals out there, 5 or 6 years ago, on my way to town I saw a white goldwing with a trailer on it, had a for sale on it. I got the number and call, I ask if he would sell trailer only & he said yes he gave me the direction to his house, it was a older Dart with 12" tires, 18 QF. I kicked the tires and looked one light did not work when I as him what he had to have, He said I just about have to have $500.00 I could not get the check wrote fast enough,

Now I don't thank that kind of a deal comes along often, but you can get a used trail, that looks good and pulls good for much less than New.

I agree. I was an Aluma dealer years ago and have been a Bushtec dealer for 5 years now and both are great trailers. I'd get a new Aluma or look out for a good used Bushtec.

Thanks for the info. I live between Omaha and Sioux City along the missouri river. my options to see the different kinds are limited. Hope to have something by summer, wife can not pack light enough for the storage we have. Says she not going to stink, I say it will blow off if we go fast enough.

I purchased a used trailer that I saw for sale in front of someone's home, maybe six years ago.....I have no idea the name of it but all I did was to re-pack the wheel bearings, and it's been with me now for years...LOVE it! ....I'll use it for the Americade Rally, Laconia Rally, and any other rally that I go on, during the season...

I bought an Aluma trailer when they first came out. They were not available in any colors. Only aluminum tread plate. Kind of hard to keep it really polished. I used moving blankets inside as anything that rubbed against the aluminum would be black. If I still had the trailer I would Line-X the interior a light color to prevent this rubbing. Mine had torsion suspension and I thought it was a bit stiff.

I had an accident while towing that trailer. Totaled my bike only a slight bend in the tongue of the trailer that I noticed. As far as a trailer goes they are rock solid.

I bought a roll of auto carpet at Walmart for about $12 to solve that problem.

Welcome to Trike Talk from CenTex, David. Never bought a trailer, but have made or remade a few from scraps around the farm. The heaviest about 100 lbs. Just a hobby for me.
