Sorry Larry and Wendy, we are not going to Port A this winter. Since our camp ground won't be ready until 2020, We decided to try S. Padre this time. But you can stop by in Medina on your ride home. We will be there 2/15- 3/17

Hey Larry, we are thinking of a couple months in Fl. Not that far to Tx. We could ride over if you give us some dates. Bill & Janiene
Just read your post, I haven't been on site in a while. Sorry to hear that you won't be in Port A this winter but we will probably be down your way sometime in February and could meet up for lunch or a short ride. I broke down and got a new Tri Glide in September.
Ride Safe Larry & Wendy
Larry,
Since you have some miles under your belt on that 114 19 Tri Glide, what do you think of it? I am thinking of trading my 16 Tri in for a 19 Tri Glide. Just wanted your input!
Thanks
Pat
I just read your post, I haven't been on site in a while. We do not have any set date in February for a ride to Victoria but we are flexible. I am thinking the middle on the second week of February.
Both Lola and Jr have expressed interest in the Victoria ride.
Where in FL are you going?
Sanibel Island. Son owns a house there, but lives in Pa,so we have it all to ourselves. Not sure yet when we will get there, depends on Dr appts. Janiene is having some issues with bad headaches. Got in with a specialist finally & she seems aggressive in treatments. Hopefully be ready by Feb. We are wanting to meet up with everyone (even Jr.) & then ride back
to Daytona for the "Snowbird gathering" in March. Not sure about that new bike. First some guy throws gravel at ya ,now cars are after you.:gah:![]()

Ride Safe
Larry & Wendy
I bought it in late September so I only have 6,000 miles on it but
both my wife Wendy and I are very happy with it. Beside having more power it rides so much better with the new shock system.
The seat area feels a little cramped but we are riding double most of the time.
I do not like the seat, we do a lot of longer distance rides and it seems like my butt gets numb quicker, I will install my Road Zeppelin Seat that I removed from my 2011 Tri Glide before we go down to Port A in February.
The standard exhaust system is very quiet, I have had three near collusions with drivers not realizing that I am in the next lane. It will need an upgrade.
Harley has changed the clutch system and it has a chunky feel to it but I am getting to were I like it.
The seat does fit but requires the purchase of an electrical harness. I also moved the tour pack back to give Wendy more room. I will have to address the leather pad that covers the small area between the seat and the tour pack, it's short after extending the tour pack.
