Trike Talk Texas Hill Country Reunion 2018

Just finished uploading another video. Looking for a mic for the GoPro so these videos aren't quite so... quiet, but in the meantime :)

This one's over fifteen minutes long, it's the first run up the uphill side of the Twisted Sisters. Highlight is when the TerraCraft decided he wanted to take a break... and people decided to stop on the side of a two lane twisty country road, when we had a chase truck behind us! You can hear my reaction, through my full helmet, on the onboard mic on the GoPro three feet in front of my face

Incidentally, my "channel" is at https://www.youtube.com/user/redoregon if you want to "subscribe" so you'll be notified of videos as I upload them.

Wendy and I made it home late this afternoon.

Thanks to everyone, it was a great time.

Special thanks to Randall for leading the ride, better get one ready for next year.

Hope to see you all next year.

We will be in Port Aransas in February if anyone wants to ride.

Sorry Larry and Wendy, we are not going to Port A this winter. Since our camp ground won't be ready until 2020, We decided to try S. Padre this time. But you can stop by in Medina on your ride home. We will be there 2/15- 3/17

Hey Larry, we are thinking of a couple months in Fl. Not that far to Tx. We could ride over if you give us some dates. Bill & Janiene

I'm sure it's still as good as remembered. You know me, when I ride, I ride with a food destination in mind :) ps ...The old court house and town square are pretty cool too

Looks good Randall. Saved the link in case we get there. hmmmmm BFCC ?? We were so sorry to hear of the Adios . Janiene is ready to Adopt Michele. We had so much fun with the 2 of you. I don't think the gathering will be the same. You will be missed. I know it was a hard decision, but ,the right one for now.

Yeah, it's been hard coming home to an empty garage. We will endure this I am sure with the grace of God.

Michele's adoption papers are typed up and ready to be signed, but she comes with a re-homing fee  ;)

Heck yeah I would...I'd pay double

Don't know what I was thinking, of course I would never consider doing such a thing :a078: :cxtv:

:clapping::clapping: She caught ya ,didn't she. Cmon now ,,fess up... She found out you put her up for adoption. Boy are you in trouble.:clapping::clapping::p:p:Coffee:

I'm in disbelief and really sad that you sold your trike Randall, that's why I haven't responded...guess I'm in denial.

BUT, the thought of adopting Michele has renewed my joy! When can we pick her up??? :D:D:D

HEY !!!!! BACK OFF ZOOK.... Janiene & I have dibs on Michele. :clapping::clapping:

So you dont care that I am in major depression then? No Randall and no Michele...That's cold Bill...

She's flattered that all of you guys are making a fuss over her...of course loved meeting all of you. We had such a great time with everyone in Kerrville.

Didn't know it would turn into an adoption battle...could get interesting :jerry:  :tease:

She's an amazing lady Randall. How can anyone not fall in love with Michele? That smile and those hugs are the best!

Also, you're a pretty swell guy yourself. In all seriousness, I am really sad about this, no kidding. I hope you will still be friends with us here on the forum and try to hang out with us when you can.

You did a fantastic job organizing and leading the rides in Kerrville. I was running on very little sleep when I got there and was sunburned and totally spent after the rides and hate I didn't get to spend more time visiting with everyone in the evenings. I don't function well without my rest, getting old I suppose.

Thanks Randy, yeppers she's an amazing lady...and I'm the luckiest guy in the world. Her big smile and laugh won me over from the get go.

I'm still having difficulty getting used to my situation, and I really, really miss my trike...:( especially now with the cooler weather and bright blue skies.

We plan to stick around for as long as you will have us. A wonderul family like this is hard to find, so many great people we have met through this forum.

With me leading the rides (my first time) I was so nervous about not getting things right...but it all worked out and I think for the most part everyone enjoyed themselves.

If we can swing it, we'll be back next year
