Thanks for the add!

I'm a brand new TG owner today, and I have 3 other riders at work who are ecstatic that I'm joining the 3-wheeled ranks. I bought a 2018 TG in Twisted Cherry / Silver Fortune. End of year clearance, and it's my birthday present to myself (belated).

I'm still riding with my old 2-wheel crew, but my girlfriend Shelly and I look forward to making this "ours" and we're scheduling the first (break-in) ride for this weekend.

I tow an Aluma MCTXL touring trailer, and I'm told I should look into the lift kit to make sure it tows nicely and handles better. I'm not yet sure if there's a rear bumper I can add that will clear the hitch, but that will come in time.

Glad to be part of the community!

Welcome aboard. As you progress in time/mileage, you will really enjoy it. Wait till you do the Dragon - that is unbelievable. Be careful at gas pumps. :D

Dave, welcome to the world of threes. You might want to be carfull about anding a trailer hitch to the trike. From what I've been hearing it will void your warranty.

Welcome to Triketalk and to the world of 3 wheels

Hey, Trampas!

Where are ya? I see Des Moines, and I live between Indianola and Milo, down by Lake Ahquabi. My gf is in Indianola and I work downtown- so I ride to work pretty frequently. Do you have a hitch on yours, and if so, what kind? I already bought the lift kit for mine but have yet to install it. I tow an Aluma MCTXL trailer, so I'm told that the lift is an absolute MUST for that. I guess I'm interested in picking your brain for things I might not think about.

No I don't have a hitch on mine, was going to go with a Hitchdoc but didn't get around to, a few on here have the hitchdoc, have the hitchdoc on my other 2 bikes that are 2 wheelers. You will love the lift kit, what kind did you get??? I don't have the 2016 triglide anymore, sold it and regretted it, so now waiting for the Big Barn to put the parts on plus waiting for parts, bars, cable kit and scuff pads, it is a 2018 vivid black, traded my other 2 bikes in for this, it was really crowded in the garage with the triglide, the 2 2 wheelers and my truck and g/f car plus all the other stuff. I have a cycle mate trailer, not sure if I will put a hitch on or not, will void the warranty and with what is going on with the transmission fluid going into primary, maybe not a good time to put a hitch on, they would say that caused it and we know it isn't, but good way to void the warranty. You might want to check on yours if you put a hitch on, my 2016 I bought at Route 65 and I know Dave, he said do what every you want, we will take care of you, but out on the road a different story, it will be turned in if they see the hitch.

P.S. I do live in Des Moines for right now
