Hello everyone. I recently purchased a 750 Honda Shadow with Motor Trike kit. I still have my gl1800 CSC trike. I’ve always used the Michelin pilot ative on my front tire and have been very satisfied with it longevity. I ve always gotten 25-30 K with it. I’m wondering what front tire thats compatible for my Shadow. It uses 170/90/15 size. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Tks in advance. Bruce

Bruce, all of the Shadows that I have seen use either a 17, 19 or 21" tire. The 170/90/15 sounds like a rear tire to me.......

You’re right. It’s a 170/90/17 on front. My mistake. I would like a same type tire that’s a rear tire on sport bike that I can put on front of my Shadow when current front tire wears out.

The stock tire size for your bike is 120/90/17. If you are running a 170 on the front, how does it fit in the fender ?? That 170/90/(R)17 tire is only produced in a Radial for dual sport bikes.

I keep putting wrong size down. It’s 120/90/17. I was hoping to find bias ply rear tire for it to get high mileage. Has new tire on front now and I’ll see how many miles I’ll get out of that one. Thanks for the info. Maybe I can find radial that’ll get good mileage. My MPA I use on my Wing usually get 25 + as long as I stay on top of air pressure. Tks again.

The Bridgestone Exedra Max 120/90/17 Bias Rear Tire mounted in reverse looks good for both mileage and traction. Should deliver well over 20,000 miles if properly inflated.
