WOW what a difference

I got the 6.0 rake kit and for a while there I thought it might be to much. Turns out cranking the steering stem nut down to 30 foot pounds will make the 6.0 a great ride. Freeway was great including lane changes, twisty's were fine. Took a couple of twisty's at 70 where 60 was a pucker factor before. 10 more miles faster added before the pucker factor kicked in this time. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Steve - You and I have the same setup so I'm very interested in your viewpoint and experience. I have about 600 miles on my trike now, mostly superslab, and have never even approached the pucker factor probably because we have no tight twisties locally, except for one almost 90 degree turn which I've never taken at more than 32 mph. Am I being a little too wimpish here? Have you ever lifted the inside wheel? (I have a 5.5 rake.)

Konrad you are not being wimpsh, never ride faster then you are comfortable with, enjoying the ride is what is inportant on a motorcycle not scaring yourself to death are your corider.

I agree with Jim, Konrad. But someday when I'm totally comfortable with my trike I may head for a parking lot and check out this lifting one wheel off the ground thing just for the experience. Should it ever happen to you unintentionally that practice just might help you get back on track without incident. Never out ride yourself, could be the last thing you ever do.
