There doesn't seem to be a lot of transition between winter and summer here in Texas. It's already 70's and 80 degrees here. Of course full summer is high 90's to 100+, but it always seems to catch me about 2 weeks behind. I need to start digging the trike out of the garage. I'll be checking things over this weekend, tire pressure, air in shocks etc. And something we all should do, checking torque on lug nuts. The left wheel has been known to come off on Harley trikes. I hope to plan a nice ride soon as I'm feeling stir crazy after winter. Take a few days to go somewhere scenic and do some camping. If I get busy and can't leave, heck, I just might set the Roll a Home up in the back yard and pretend.

Right now its 37* here, So i still ride with winter air.....Maybe i do the semi annual air switch some time in May...

I know some thing for sure Harleys run much cooler with winter air in the tires...

And that can be proven when most people change over to summer air, Then all the heat complaints will start to be posted shortly thereafter....But Not too many complaints about heat with winter air.....;)-:D

Remember not to mix the tire air with the shock air !!

Winter air voids your warranty:p

I've been trying to locate Spring air. My dealer is completely out of it. Still had some left over Fall air, but it's designed to accommodate going from warm to cold, not cold to warm like Spring air. Amazon is out too. Geez, there's alway an impediment togetting the trike ready.

March 'Frank... If you ain't bored in March, Then what meaning does life have.....:xzqxz:

OMG! I think I may have just screwed up, I just added air to my tires, but I added winter air instead of summer , now I have mixed up the air, how will this effect the tire wear? should I remove the tires and buy new ones just in case?? :(:(:(:(

I check my air every Sunday

I have a dryer hooked up to my air line

I think it is important for dry air

I have seen too many tires with residues of moisture inside

Also I like to say, tell your tire changer if you have dyna beads or any of the tire sealers or liquid balancers in them

Some of these make a heck of a mess for the installer

Also, some of the sealers had ( REPEAT) had a propellant that could cause an explosion when breaking the beads during tire changing

Not sure if that has changed in the years;)

Yep you did........It right on page #14-B, Of the Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics hand book.......Mixing Winter air with Summer air will void your warranty.....

Ask your dealer , He will confirm it.. But if you'er worried leave them like they are , But just in case you might want to change your oil...

Bye the way does anyone know what weight oil is best to use with mixed air tires ...?....;)
