Hello everyone !! I just joined TRIKETALK and wanted to introduce myself. I am located in S.C. and I am new to the trike scene. My user id is Speed Demon & those with some age on them will know why from the pic. I just purchased a home made 64 VW framed Subaru powered water cooled trike. It is in a somewhat unfinished state. I only have 1 pic for now but will update with more as I complete the trike. So as this completion continues I will have to ask for some advice from more experienced trikers. Thanks & HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Hello again and thank you all for the warm welcome. Got to spend some time on the trike today to find out what needs addressing. Oh boy some things need addressing. I will post the items needing attention to get some advise in the appropriate forum. I did get a few more pics i wanted to share with you all !!IMG_0145.jpgIMG_0144.jpgIMG_0142.jpgIMG_0141.jpg

Welcome from PA please keep us posted on the Subaru powered trike. interesting to say the least. VW parts are scarce in these parts thinking of building one. Travel safe Fred

New guy. And a question

Does anyone know who makes a REAL TRIKE CONVERSION for a 2005 Kawasaki 1500cc Nomad? Not an add on kit that doesn’t replace the rear wheel.

I will keep you updated on the progress. So far the trike runs nicely. It came with electronic ignition so thats a plus. It is also supposed to be a converted aircraft engine rated @ 100hp. I am in no real hurry as the 30's & 40's usually keep me off the cycles. You know, us old people have thin blood !!!

Hi Greg and welcome to the forums from Florida, you got yourself a unique looking ride for sure.

welcome aboard Greg. More pictures of that Subaru setup would be awesome.
Thanks Gorilla and to all the others for the warm welcome. I will post more pics hopefully sometime this weekend (12/02 or 12/03). Got a bit of stuff coming to put on the trike. Will get some good pics of the Subaru install. OOOPS forgot I got a Toys For Tots Ride Saturday. Will be on 2 wheels for that. Should still get some time for the trike tho on Saturday. Thanks again & HAPPY HOLIDAYS !!!!
