Wondering who might be interested in going back to Eureka Springs - week of May 20, 2018.

If interested please post here. I'll start looking for hotels.

Already have plenty of rides in mind and some great places to eat.

Eureka Springs Gathering

My wife Wendy and I have been to Eureka Springs a number of times. Great area to ride and look forward to making another trip to the area.

For anyone interested in the Civil War, they have the Pea Ridge National Military Park located close to Rogers AR that has a 7 - mile tour road and a nice Visitors Center. They also have the Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park located 9 miles Southwest of Fayetteville AR

The Pig Trail Scenic Byway (Rt - 23 South from Eureka Springs) is one of the better rides.

No set number of days. Come in as you please leave as you please. Hopefully we’ll have things planned each day to take advantage of plus spur of the moment things as well

Never been there so we might just try it. Thanks for posting.

OOPS! Grand Daughter graduating from Case Western Reserve University Bolten School of Nursing that week. Won't miss that so once again I spoke before checking with my wife first. Shame on me!

We have been there several times and really enjoyed it. We may show up if my health is good enough for the trip.

We stayed at Motel 62, they were very welcoming and did all they could to make us feel welcome. Their prices are very reasonable and if you talk to them they may give you a group discount. Trike Talk/Trike Owners International held their last rally that they had there at that motel.

:D

Been there 3 times with another trike group of friends, we are always interested in going back (already have reservations for next year). We stay at the Regency Inn, good people and they take very good care of us. Johana is Mgr, tell her OJ sent you and see if she will give you a good price, if you don't already have plans.

Lodging

I’ve been to several TOI gatherings in Eureka Springs and have stayed at several hotels in area. Have had a couple suggestions thus far and I’ll add a location called “The Lodge” centrally located actually right across street from buffet place that TOI has used in past.

Smaller - 23 rooms but very nice with several places nearby

Any more suggestions?

First of January I’ll make some calls dependent on numbers here for some rates

Is having breakfast at hotel important?

Interested. Have been to ES 4 times. It's way too early for me to commit yet. Will be following this thread...

We would be interested if we could camp close by

Camping for me at this stage of my life is a hotel without room service

i do know there are several campgrounds in area but that is extent of my knowledge

Not sure if this should be in a new thread or not

I've been checking on hotels for the dates listed. It seems rates are from $83 and up

best deal I've found is Best Western Eureka Inn at about $92.00 a night tax included. Place is centrally located and does include a breakfast buffet.

Feel free to post thoughts and suggestions
