Thanks jc. I was looking to replace the HFSM rather than disable it. I have a copy of the shop manual. PS Did you know that if you pull the main fuse or disconnect the battery, you have to go through the full PIN setting process to get your Fob to work.

When i changed the battery on my 11 T/G The FOB worked without resetting the PIN#

And on my 17 T/G I disconnected the battery to put in a pig tail for my heated jacket , Also Without a reset needed ...:Shrug:

Maybe it has changed. I have a 2010 T/G, and I bought the shop manual with it. My statement was made based on the manual. I'll reread.
