CB module update?

Getting ready to install the CB module on my 2017 Tri Glide. Will I need the dealer to "update/flash" my radio after installation? Or will the radio recognize the CB and all will work?

When I installed the CB in my 2016 TGU it worked right off the bat. Dealer didn't have to do anything. The Boom Box recognized it.

Installed CB and XM radio and didn't need a flash from dealer, on three different bikes.

I was wondering. When you purchased the CB kit, did it include an antenna? If it didn't, It should.

Everything is pretty much a separate purchase.

cB modular kit includes the bracket, needed still is right side switch pack with PPT button, Antenna and headset. Thank goodness the wiring is already installed

Did you get the switch pak from the dealer? Looked up the part number on the Harley site. Didn't have a listing for it.

I purchased the CB module, switch pack, and antenna screw from boardtrackerharleyonline.com. About $100 cheaper than my dealer. Got the antenna from my local dealer.

Was installing the switch pack easy to do? Just bought one off ebay new in box for $105 including shipping,

Is changing the right switch pack to the one with the PTT switch pack fairly simple?
