Motortrike Aquashields

I have an 08 GL1800 Motortrike conversion with Aquashields. I have a lot of wasted floor board under the pegs and would like to remove stock pegs and just use the running boards. Does anyone have any insight on how I make the shifting easier as there is a 4 inch gap between the shift peg and floor board?

Can you take the shifter off on a 1800 and reposition it at a lower level ?

For Bare:

It works great raises your heal like a peg.
Mounted with the 1x2 in steel bar with Goop. You can now use the floor boards.

I just removed the pegs and adjusted the shift lever and brake peddle so my feet are on the aqua shields.
I have a 1500 but should be the same as the 1800.

No "adjusty" the shift lever on an 1800 and you usually have to move the brake pedal up a notch!

Claude I think it is the same type of material that Hannigan, and Rodesmith use on theirs. It is a thick sticky back floor material.

I have a '09 GL1800 and in a few weeks they going put on a Motor Trike kit. Do like the Aquashields on your trike, and what do like about it?

Good to know in case I ever get the 1800 bug, casue I did the same on my 1500 as Wayne. Plus I have giant feet so it was no big shift needed.
