I have the 2017 Tri- Glide... And when i pull into a parking space the cooling fan stays on for about 10 or 15 seconds , Sought of sounds like a Honda ,

What i would like to know if i took a close-pin and a baseball card, Put it in the fan blade , Will it give me the Harley sound....And will that void my warrantee?? ...Any suggestions will be welcome...

Bob you are just to funny

You will need at least a 3 newton inch pound clothes pin torsion spring to facilitate holding a Kem playing card to simulate the required H-D sound. Hope this helps. :D

How about that sound if you have to use reverse! I actually roll the throttle to mask the sound....so vain....lol

Put me on the waiting list for one of those fan masking kits. You guys kill me! I really need a good laugh today.

Its one thing if lt sounds like a Honda, but if it sounds like a GoldWing you'll never be able to keep the damn thing out of a Dairy Queen parking lot.

If you want it to sound like a Harley, remove ever third fan blade.

Bob, I think a lot of us on this forum wore out many packs of playing cards with closepins on our bike spokes. Back then, they didn't have plasticized cards so the suckers would only make the Harley sound for a brief time before they went limp. Now our bikes make the Harley sound but things are still going limp:xzqxz:

Being a Yankee fan growing up in Brooklyn I only use Brooklyn dodger cards Duke Snyder cards worked the best 😀📞

Sir, Kem cards in the '50's were plastic... (of course that's just a dim memory...)

I looked it up and KEM cards were always made of cellulose acetate which were plastic. My parents for some reason used Bicycle brand playing cards that apparently were paper cards with a light plastic coating that seemed to wear out pretty fast on my bicycle.

I wish my Uncle were still alive because he was a professional gambler that reportedly used to mark his cards with a special ink from Russia that helped rig his games and allowed him to sadly fleece unsuspecting factory workers. I wonder which brand of cards he was using? He was however proud that he never worked for the "Outfit" which was his slang for the Mafia as he worked in and around Chicago. At age 65, a police Captain threatened to kill him if he didn't pay $10k in extortion money and that ended his career. He moved to South Florida and led a more quiet life for the next 26 years. He didn't ride Harleys but he always had a new Buick Roadmaster and a pocket full of "flash cash" that he kept bundled in half with rubber bands and the C-notes on the outside. I really was impressed with him until I understood how dishonest he was. My mother who was his baby sister was always embarrassed about her immigrant brother from the "old country" who came to America with little education and no formal skills.
