Old Biker New Triker

I'm glad to find this group, good information and friendly people here. This past weekend we (my wife and I) picked up a 2001 Ultra with a new Motor Trike Trog kit from the dealer. She has mobility issues and could no longer ride on two wheels so we traded in her Dyna. She is tickled pink to be finally back on the road. After only a couple hundred miles so far, I can't yet say I like the trike better than the Royal Star I usually ride but it's starting to grow on me. At least now I can say I have the best of both worlds. I just need to remember when to put my feet down and when to pick them up. Anyway, howdy ya'all from Arkansas.

Hello BigG. We welcome both you and your wife to TrikeTalk! And as you get more comfortable with your trike, you will come to love it as much as your two-wheeler! It's a little different to steer, but some of the benefits of three wheels will make up for losing the lean!

Welcome my friend, just one experience of rolling one of those big rear tires over your heel should be a great memory enhancer :D

And it would be nice to remember that big rear end whence pulling up to a gas pump - ooops

Welcome from sunny So Cal, BigG. You've hooked up with a swell bunch, dude:yes: Triking got wifey back on the pillion with me after a 2-3 year hiatus of weak excuses. truth was, well just let's say, too many mad-max rider issues:D. Enjoy 3-wheeling.
