Howdy! I'm a 68 year old Harley rider since the 1970's. Had some health problems impairing my balance, so I'm in the market for a trike. Looking for a Honda conversion near me. Need to sell my 2009 Road King to help finance.

I'm really looking to feel comfortable on a bike again. Any one wishing to give me ideas is welcome to email me.

Looking forward to meeting some you other trike riders. I'm in Canyon Lake.

Welcome Mike from Conroe Texas. Have you thought about converting the Roadking? They make an excellent trike and I know someone who can make you a good deal on converting it. ThumbUp

Hello Mike...welcome to TrikeTalk !!

I have a 2008 Honda GL 1800, Lehman Monarch II kit for sale. very low mileage. it is in the For Sale forum here on TrikeTalk....you will have to scroll down a few posts to get to it. although I am in Midland TX it is not that far to come down and have you take a look or meet in the middle. this trike has been ridden to Kerrville TX several times to trike rallies. if interested please send me a private message. it is a really nice trike and is reasonably priced.

Welcome from Flint Texas. I had Papa Zook at Cut N Shoot Customs in Conroe, Tx convert my 2014 RK w/Champion Trike kit. What a great ride. I had a GW trike in the past. It was great too. It's just a matter of your choice. Good luck on your decision and ride safe.

Welcome from Pennsylvania

Welcome to the gang good people here. good luck on your search. :Coffee: travel safely Fred

Howdy Mike and welcome to the forum. If you decide to trike your Harley I would recommend Cut and Shoot Customs over in Conroe. Randy sure gave me a deal on a Roadsmith conversion for my wing. I can say for certain that it will be road ready before he turns it over to you and he's a great guy also. You can check out his work here on this forum.

Thank you to you all for the posts

Thanks to you all for the suggestions, but, since I've been riding and hangin out with Harley riders for so long, I ended up buying a new Tri Glide. Have put many miles on it yet, other than to realize it steers opposite of a 2 wheeler. Ended up riding up on the lawn, but I started getting the hang of it in about 15 miles. It looked pretty funny to my wife, but I got to where I was going and got it in the garage afterward with no problems.

I can relate, my Freewheeler is my 5th Harley so it just seemed natural to go in that direction. Have a lot of fun and when your wife feels comfortable riding on the back, let me know so we can meet up for a ride.

Ride safe, have fun.

Congratulations on your new TG! You'll get many years of enjoyment out of it. So far, I've got two years (to the day) of enjoyment out of mine. And of course...
