I am considering the Motor Trike Mechanical Reverse Gear(part # MTTR-0023) set up on a 2013 TG. I like the idea it comes with a electronic kill switch to protect the bike from damage if you accidently have it in reverse and a forward gear at the same time.

L've got one on mine

I put the Motor Trike Reverse unit on my '13 TG last year when the MOCO electric "Reverse" failed. Best money spent on large ticket items on the bike. Many less expensive mods have been done, but MT the reverse was worth it. Forward or backward, I can ride anywhere.

I have the Baker reverse gear, expensive but very useful, because it is operated by the normal gear switch. Frirst gear with pulled clutch, press a button on the handlebar an you can switch down into reverse. For forward, only switch up into first gear.

Ideal if you have to rank in narrow spaces and no fiddling around the exhaust with burned fingers.

Im running true duals on both my trikes, do avoid the burn, other bike i built i built a longer shaft with a Hurst t handle and screwed it on the shaft and brought it up and outta the way. :D

I have it in my 11Tri over two years now, I love that fact i can park in any space i feel like..

And the wiring harness [kill switch] is a must.....Can you imagine a car company trying to sell a 35K car with a reverse where you have be careful as to where to park.....:xzqxz:
