Corbin Hollywood Solo

Does anyone know if the Corbin Hollywood Solo seat and PPad will fit the Free? It says online it will work on the late model touring bikes. The key lock system has me wondering for sure. Thanks!

After much research and headache ... I found a guy locally who will build me the seat I can live with for now. It's based on the LaPera Villian design but will sit me back 2". Very clean lines and on the factory seat pan. I'm dropping the bike at his shop on Monday and should have it back by Thursday or Friday. I'll post some pics then.

Still dreaming of an old school solo springer and P Pad, but this will get me by for now hopefully!

Yes keep us informed, been looking for a SOLO springer set up myself.

That is my next project after I get this new seat built. It will take a full length metal pan or two seperate ones tied together at one of the frame cross braces. I haven't found one to go from yet... so it looks like some pioneering will have to be done.

I should have the new seat done by Thursday or Friday. Willl post some pics after I get it back. Going over there tomorrow hopefully after the foam is laid to see how it fits.

Couldn't be happier about how this seat turned out. Driver portion is longer, more narrow and at least an 1" lower. Feels like you are sitting in it... not on top of it. The lines match the lines on the bike. Best $325 I have spent on the bike so far. Going to buy another touring seat for longer rides, but this seat is perfect for riding solo or on short trips 2 up. The guys at CyFair Upholstery did a great job making the stock seat into this.
