As of right now, we're planning on TTIV and GW WingDings (Knoxville) to be at the end of one of our "big trips," hopefully from Killeen to Yellowstone & Glacier NPs, up to Banff, across to Niagara Falls, Pittsburgh and the rally. Should be about 8000 miles, more or less, by the time we get back home.

We'll be trailering w/our motorhome. We have 3 shihtzu (our babies) which travel with us everywhere. We'll be staying at the Stone Bridge CG.
Anyone else staying there??

we are lucky our daughter will be taking care of our 2 babies Shihtzu's also. Maybe we can visit yours and hug them. we will be missing ours

Sounds great, if I can find someone from my area (Darlington, Maryland) which is in the northeast part of Maryland.....that I can ride along with I will be there!

Mary, we may leave a few days early to get there, but we could maybe meet you somewhere in Central Va around I 85, if you are interested in riding along with us. We may make the trip a day and 1/2 if it is really hot like last year. We like to tool along and stop when we want. I/E we are not in any hurry! LOL!

Just as long as you don't expect the same of us Texans!! We ain't real posh! (We will try to wear clean clothes, though. TTIV will be at the end of an 8000 mile "big trip", so don't expect too much!)

Sadly wherever we plan the annual rally there will be a good share of the membership that just can't travel that far for it, Ghalib. Why don't you start an annual gathering/mini-rally in California like the New England group did this year. Just a relaxed, family-reunion-feel to get acquainted, share a meal, take a ride, and have some fun.

The first two TT Rallies were just like that, with 12-15 people showing up. But the response was so positive, that we decided to plan bigger this year....... and what fun all 63 of us had! I think we will double in size for next year.

Hopefully you all will some time be able to come for the main rally, but there is no reason why you can't have a West Coast gathering annually. Who knows, maybe one day we'll be able to ride out and share in it with you!
