Welcome to TrikeTalk, and yes, you are posting just fine :D
Send a private message to SouthernMan. He just had a great experience with shipping a trike for his wife, and I'm sure he would be willing to share that information with you and your father-in-law.

Welcome to Trike Talk. Send a PM to Southern Man, he just had one shipped and highly recommends who he used. He will be glad to give you his name and number.

Welcome aboard. Glad you found us. Get your Father-In-Law to jump on here to. Follow Nana's suggestion. Good luck. What are you thinking of getting for yourself?

The name of the company is Eagle 1.
The contact information is Larry @ 209-495-3729

He was leaving Florida heading out west this weekend, sounds like you will be right on his way if you call soon..

Also he is the owner of the company, not a freight broker deal. You pay on either pick up or delivery, no deposit required.

His rate was fair and his service was professional.

Tell him the trike guy from Georgia recomended him to you.

Thanks for the info that was much appreciated I called my father in-law and gave him the info hopefully we can get his trike home. As for myself I was thinking of the roadhawk seems like a safe reliable trike. More important my wife feels safe then what I would really like. Thanks again for the shipping info will let you know how it works out.

I have a Michigan to Texas delivery coming up next week (Sept 17 2010) . Will be returning to Michigan with an empty 14' Closed cargo trailer if anyone needs anything moved along this route touch base with me.

I have used Central Freight several times. Good rates, prompt service. Have shipped a couple trikes and VW engines. You'll need access to a loading platform and you'll have to get your trike onto it. I was lucky to have one not far from home that let me use it whenever I needed to. Easy ramp to drive up too.
