Well,

Time has passed by rather quickly since I rode the Wing to the Hannigan factory in December for a conversion scheduled for the second week in January (this week!!).

The ol' gal should be in the process of transformation and as the way the weather has been, we may be able to bring her home in a timely manner!!

Sooo close, can hardly wait!

Now is a good time to stock up on the trike cleaning supplies.
It's also a good time to view/purchase any accessory upgrades from the online websites.

I do need to order a GPS cradle for the 590 and remove the 2720 mount.... have a few items/chores to accomplish after getting it home.

Maybe change the windbender back to the stock shield until we decide what size F4 to get, of course, with wife's blessings.

Ahhhh, you already have a conversion. Is there any need to go back to a dealer/installer for anything on a schedule? I will try and mention ya, if excitement will allow....

Mine being the first customer HRT on the road ( almost a year ago ) I had to go back once when they found the front geometry needed to be changed. Other than that the only maintainance is greasing the ball joints and a couple other suspension links at suggested 20 thousand mile mark. Once you get yours play around with tire pressures ( for me it is 29 lbs) and front coil over setting to find what is best for you. ENJOY.

I think the temp would be agreeable but looking ahead I think the radar is going to have a lot of bright colors (rain) in it this week. Sure hate to take a brand new trike out in the rain on its maiden voyage. Good Luck!

Well, it's not a trike yet, so it'll probably be next week before it's finished, and the weather outlook looks to be moooo better...

I don't have a clue.... I was contacted Tuesday and was told they were close as they only had the body to put on... and the front brake pads should be changed and asked if I wanted them to change them.... so I figured, yesssss, close. Soooo, It's ok, it is January and I'm not missing too much riding yet....

Next week weather does look better rain wise to bring the bike home...

I'm in the exact same boat as you, I just got my Goldwing triked out and just had her delivered to my garage yesterday.............Aaaaaaaa what a good feeling! Like yourself it's too cold/snowy/salty to actually take her out for a spin...BUT i did go up the street, with my builder on back to show my how to ride a trike. (he was good, and I did learn alot) It's going to b a complete new way of learning how to ride a motorcycle, BUT i'm going to love it...........I'm going down to the insurance Co. and then to the MVDept. to insure it so it will b ready when the weather breaks and it get nice outside..
in the mean time, i guess I'll go snow skiing, so time will hopefully fly bye....

No call yet... I'm hoping for the best! It's got to be getting close... but, am in no hurry yet... it'll come about in due time.

When ever i asked a customer when do you want to pick up the job..And they would say no rush, I would stop them right there, And say no give me a time, Otherwise human nature will come into play, And i would keep on putting that job on the back burner...And work on other jobs in between first that have a firm completion date...:Shrug:

I think that's exactly what's going on with my contractor and a job I spoke to him about. Going to have to jog his memory soon.
