Just around the middle of September i notice that my Tri-Glide started to run cold, So much so that when i do my 6:30 Am coffee run i have to put on my heavy leather jacket to keep warm... But back in June' July And August the Tri- Glide was running so hot all i needed was a T shirt ... Anyone else notice this strange cooling down, And do you think i should i bring this to the attention of my dealer..;);)

Nope- still running 220 oil temp, just takes longer to get there. And actualy seems to run better.
Should cut back on the blood thinner!

I have noticed the same thing with my trike starting around the same time. I don't think the dealer will be able to do anything about it. I think given time this situation will pass... might take a while though... and it will probably get worse before it gets better.

Our first frost tonight in Sitka. Fresh snow on the hills above us earlier this week. Should be sunny tomorrow.

Wow a little late this year? I was at my hunting club last week [Sullivan Co Ny] and we had a frost one morning . Had to scrape it off the windshield on my Rhino.

No, this is about right. Sitka is in SE Alaska, right on the ocean. It's not the 'real' Alaska. There's a strong Japan current running so we don't get ALaska's cold here, but it never gets warm either. Or dry. Our average temp is about 43 and the extremes seldom hit either single digits or 75. Along with our 18 miles of island road it doesn't make a rider's heaven.

I's right on the ocean bout 8:30 PM last night and it was real nice 'cept them damn little black bugs that kept biting Ma and me. Had to get up and go for a swim to keep them little suckers off of us. Where you guys talkin about? We were on Sanibel Island. Nice place cept fer them dang bugs in the evening.

Correlation.....

Is there a correlation here :Shrug: Like i said in the first post... Since September my Tri-Gilde was running much cooler...

Now that it got warmer the last few days....AKA..; Native American Summer...

My Tri-Glide is running hot.!

Again is this normal??..;);)

Being the river water temp is 65* , the ambuant temp is 70* at 50mph the chill factor to be at 65*. To me it is all balanced out when raining.
So the question still arises , are you normal or nuts
