PARIS—Robbers held up reality-TV star Kim Kardashian at gunpoint in a Paris apartment early Monday, making off with around €10 million ($11.24 million) in jewelry, a police officer said.
Kardashian, 35-years old, was in Paris for fashion week, and was staying at a residence in the city center when several armed men masquerading as police entered the apartment and robbed her, the police officer said.
After threatening the doorman, the robbers went upstairs to Kardashian’s apartment, where she was alone, the officer said. They forced their way in and locked her in the bathroom. The men didn’t fire their weapons, and no one was injured in the incident, which took place around 2 a.m. local time, according to the police.

The real question is: Why is anyone traveling the globe with 11.24 million in jewels, without an armed bodyguard 24/7.:xzqxz:
Oh yeah, its a Kartrashian, and they'll make up the loss 2x over in featuring the heist on their tv show...;)

I don't know about you folks, but I NEVER travel very far without at least $10,000,000 worth of jewelry. It always makes the trip so much nicer, especially when I stop at some of the dives I eat at when I am on the road. The locals just swoon when they see me with all that, and it sure helps if I don't have any cash with me to pay for dinner. I thought everyone travels like that,,,, don't they??

This is the last time I'm going to comment on those people...:p

When i was in the Jewelry trade. The big jewelry houses would lend the Jewelry out to celebrities for Advertisement/Good will..ECT... I had a few customers who did that. And quite a few times my customer when they got the jewelry back would ask me to check it to make sure they got back what they lent out.. One time one of my customer asked me to take out a very' very large Diamond [It was so large it even had its own name] out of its setting so they could have the GIA verify it was the the same Diamond that they lent out.. It was lent out to the Smithsonian for some type of display/show.? ..The diamond checked out.. Then i reset it.
Im done now;
Six Two Charlie Out....

I'm normally sympathetic to any victim of crime. This time.....not so much. Couldn't happen to a more deserving person and I hope there was no insurance.

First off how is that possible since guns are not allowed in the hands of private citizens and secondly and most importantly,I DONT CARE.ThumbUp
