Trike Handling.

Kevin, that's exactly what happens to me - AND - you would think that the H-D GPS would know where all the H-D dealers are - WRONG!!! I bet on all my trips the dealer locations are wrong about 30% of the time. Even one of my local dealerships is portrayed as being in the middle of I294 5 miles away from the correct location. :AGGHH:

I've had the GPS unit completely stop working a couple times. After turning the trike off and then on after 10 minutes , it worked again.

I can load 50 destinations into my Zumo 660 in the same time it would take me to put in about 8 destinations in the H-D unit.

I don't know how much better it is on the '16's - hopefully a lot better.

Kevin, don't try a Garmin Zumo GPS - you will be completely amazed and buy one immediately. :D :D

eeek! That would be super frustrating to have that many wrong directions.

I've had that one place in Alabama (twice-there and back), and then a couple other times it got confused, but that is it. I'll take your advice and won't try the Zumo...I'm still pretty enthralled with the HD one.

Kevin

edit to my above post- More than a few times, when using the POI to find a Super 8 Motel, it has taken me to a Motel that used to be a Super 8, but is not any longer.

I don't know if that is the GPS at fault, or if someone is not updating a database somewhere.

Not the GPS's fault. Updaters fault. I've had the same problem with an Arby's location.

I test road a 11 and 16 TG. Big differance to me. For one the 14 is the first year that has a hydraulic clutch. With arthritis in my hands it had to be the 2014 and up for me. I'm still shopping for a Trike. Right now I have a 07 Wing that was thinking of a trike conversion, or another one already Triked. So far I test road a Can Am, Goldwing with a CSC kit, and both the Harleys I mentioned. So far I really like the 2014 and above TG's. I was surprised how good it handled, and how good the ride was. ThumbUp
